3. Hold the adapter and tilt it to expel the water remaining in the adapter.
Flush the washing tube (MH-974)
1. While immersing the syringe and the washing tube completely in the water,
slowly fill the syringe with the water, press it to the connecting end of the
washing tube, and flush the tube with 30 ml of the water (see Figure 10.8).
2. Remove the washing tube from the water.
3. Hold the adapter and tilt it to expel the water remaining in the tube.
Flush the injection tube (MH-946)
1. Attach the syringe to the suction channel port of the injection tube (see
Figure 10.9).
2. While immersing the syringe and the injection tube completely in the water,
slowly pull the syringe plunger to fill the syringe with the water. Then push in
the plunger to flush the suction channel tube of the injection tube with 30 ml
of the water (see Figure 10.10).
3. Move the syringe to the air/water channel port of the injection tube (see
Figure 10.11).
4. While immersing the syringe and the injection tube completely in the water,
slowly pull the syringe plunger to fill the syringe with the water. Then push in
the plunger to flush the air/water channel tube of the injection tube with
30 ml of the water (see Figure 10.12).
5. Remove the injection tube from the water.
6. Attach the syringe to the suction channel port of the injection tube (see
Figure 10.9).
7. Pull the syringe plunger to fill the syringe with air. Then push in the plunger
to flush the suction channel tube of the injection tube with 30 ml of air.
Confirm that no water exits from the tube during the flush.
8. If water is emitted, repeat Step 7.
9. Move the syringe to the air/water channel port of the injection tube (see
Figure 10.11).
10. Pull the syringe plunger to fill the syringe with air. Then push in the plunger
to flush the air/water channel tube of the injection tube with 30 ml of air.
Confirm that no water exits from the air pipe port during the flush.
11. If water is emitted, repeat Step 10.
