Flush the suction cleaning adapter (MH-856)
1. While immersing the syringe and the suction cleaning adapter completely in
the rinse water, slowly fill the syringe with the rinse water, press it to the
connecting end of the suction cleaning adapter, and flush the adapter with
30 ml of the rinse water. Confirm that no air bubbles exit from the adapter
(see Figure 10.38).
2. If air bubbles exit, repeat Step 1.
Flush the washing tube (MH-974)
1. While immersing the syringe and the washing tube completely in the rinse
water, slowly fill the syringe with the rinse water, press it to the luer port of
the washing tube, and flush the tube with 30 ml of the rinse water. Confirm
that no air bubbles exit from the tube (see Figure 10.39).
2. If air bubbles exit, repeat Step 1.
Flush the injection tube (MH-946)
1. Attach the syringe to the suction channel port of the injection tube (see
Figure 10.40).
2. While immersing the syringe and the injection tube completely in the rinse
water, slowly pull the syringe plunger to fill the syringe with the rinse water.
Then push in the plunger to flush the suction channel tube of the injection
tube with 30 ml of the rinse water. Confirm that no air bubbles exit from the
tube during the flush (see Figure 10.41).
3. If air bubbles exit, repeat Step 2.
4. Move the syringe to the air/water channel port of the injection tube (see
Figure 10.42).
5. While immersing the syringe and the injection tube completely in the rinse
water, slowly pull the syringe plunger to fill the syringe with the rinse water.
Then push in the plunger to flush the air/water channel tube of the injection
tube with 30 ml of the rinse water. Confirm that no air bubbles exit from the
air pipe port during the flush (see Figure 10.43).
6. If air bubbles exit, repeat Step 5.
7. While immersing the syringe completely in the rinse water, slowly fill it with
the rinse water, press it to one side of the connector plug’s opening, and
flush the plug with 30 ml of the rinse water. Confirm that no air bubbles exit
from another side of the connector plug’s opening during the flush (see
Figure 10.44).
