8. If air bubbles exit, repeat Step 7.
Flush the channel plug (MAJ-621)
While immersing the channel plug completely in the rinse water, using the
syringe, flush the interiors, the springs, and the holes of the plug with 30 ml
of the rinse water each (5 areas) (see Figure 10.45).
Flush the cleaning adapter for instrument channel port
(MAJ-350)
1. While immersing the cleaning adapter for instrument channel port
(MAJ-350) completely in the rinse water, using the syringe, flush the
interiors, the holes of the adapter with 30 ml of the rinse water each
(2 areas). Confirm that no air bubbles exit from the holes during the flush
(see Figure 10.46).
2. If air bubbles exit, flush the part where air bubbles exit with 30 ml of the
rinse water until no air bubbles exit.
3. While immersing the cleaning adapter for instrument channel port
(MAJ-350) completely in the rinse water and rotating the adapter
360 degrees, using the syringe, flush the groove of the adapter thoroughly
with 30 ml of the rinse water. Confirm that no air bubbles exit from the
groove during the flush (see Figure 10.47).
4. If air bubbles exit, flush the part where air bubbles exit with 30 ml of the
rinse water until no air bubbles exit.
Repeat rinsing
Return to the beginning of “Rinsing the accessories following disinfection”
on page 200 and repeat the procedures so far for the necessary number of
times described in the disinfectant manufacturer’s instructions. If not
specified, perform at least a total of two times.
Remove the accessories from rinse water
Remove the suction cleaning adapter (MH-856)
1. Remove the suction cleaning adapter from the rinse water.
2. Hold the adapter and tilt it to expel the rinse water remaining in the adapter.
3. Place it in a sterile basin.
