defective and requires servicing. If the input voltage is found to be within limits,
see “Technical Support” on page 11.
If both the AC and DC sources are connected and powered, the instrument
automatically operates from the AC input and the DC input is disabled.
STBY
The letters STBY stand for standby.
When this indicator blinks red, it indicates that the internal temperature is above
65 °C and that the instrument is defective and requires servicing. For technical
support, see “Technical Support” on page 11.
When this indicator light is orange, it indicates that the unit is off but correctly
powered.
When this indicator is blinking green twice per second, it indicates that the unit is
starting up.
When this indicator turns off after blinking, it indicates that the unit is ready for
operation.
ETHERNET
This 8-position modular connector enables the connection of the TomoScan
FOCUS LT to an Ethernet network. In normal operation, an indicator light is
green when the Ethernet link is established and a second indicator flashes yellow
when there is activity on the network.
UT PHASED ARRAY
This Minidock-type connector is composed of 160 pins, which gives access to up
to 128 channels. It connects the phased array probes with the Minidock connector
or the Hypertronics connector when using the Hypertronics connector adaptor.
When the conventional ultrasound mode is enabled with the UT ON button, the last
four phased array channels are routed onto the
P125, P126, P127, and P128 connectors and
are no longer available on the UT PHASED ARRAY connector.
