VVC (also known as many other names such as i-VTEC, VANOS etc) is constantly variable cam
control. Normal VTEC will switch from one can position to another whereas VVC allows any cam
position within limits. The cam position varies with engine speed. Each manufacturer has a slightly
different way of triggering this cam movement, so please contact Omex for advice on whether a
particular engine has been run with the Omex VVC control.
