Edges Pre-Heater
General Description
This device is used to heat the edges of the material before it reaches the film feed chain.
The need to use this device arises because there is a rapid advancement of the material inside the
chain guide system through the drilling of the material by the points on the chain. When the
material turns out to be hard or thick, the motor that moves the chains goes under stress because
the spikes on the chain cannot easily pierce the material. The pre-heating gripper then heats the
edges of the material with each step to facilitate the drilling of the same and not to force the film
advance motor.
