5) Adjust the zoom and the focus. (Fig. 2)
f Adjust the size of the projected image by turning the zoom ring.
f Adjust the focus by turning the focus ring.
Note
f It is recommended that images be projected continuously for at least 30 minutes before the focus is adjusted.
f Since the projected image size will change when the focus ring is turned, ne adjust the projected image size again by turning the zoom
ring.
f Perform the [POSITION] menu → [SCREEN ADJUSTMENT] when the projected image is distorted.
Adjustment range by the lens position shift (optical shift)
Based on the standard projection position using the optical axis shift function, the projection position can be
adjusted in the range shown in the following gure.
Following gure shows the adjustment range when the projector is installed on the oor.

Note
f Optimal image can be achieved by installing the projector squarely in front of the screen and adjusting the lens shift lever to center.
