f In the following conditions, the setting of the [PICTURE] menu → [GAMMA] → [DEFAULT] is disabled and the same gamma mode as when
[2.2] is set is applied.
g When the levels of [WHITE], [RED], [GREEN], and [BLUE] are adjusted
g When [PC CORRECTION] is set to [ON]
f If you need to switch the gamma mode to [1.8] or [2.0], rst set the [PICTURE] menu → [GAMMA].
[SHUTTER SETTING]
Set the operation of the shutter function.
Setting [FADE-IN] or [FADE-OUT]
1) Press as to select [SHUTTER SETTING].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [SHUTTER SETTING] screen is displayed.
3) Press as to select [FADE-IN] or [FADE-OUT].
4) Press qw to switch the item.
Item Adjustment
[FADE-IN]
[FADE-OUT]
[OFF] Does not set fade-in or fade-out.
[0.5s] - [10.0s]
Sets the fade-in or fade-out time.
Select an item from [0.5s] - [4.0s], [5.0s], [7.0s], or [10.0s]. [0.5s] -
[4.0s] can be selected in increments of 0.5.
Note
f If the <SHUTTER> button on the remote control is pressed during fade-in or fade-out, the fade operation is canceled.
f Fade-in/fade-out is not performed on the audio. Audio is output or paused linked to the operation of the shutter function.
Setting [STARTUP]
Automatically enable/disable the shutter function (shutter: closed/open) when the power is turned on.
1) Press as to select [SHUTTER SETTING].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [SHUTTER SETTING] screen is displayed.
3) Press as to select [STARTUP].
4) Press qw to switch the item.
[OPEN]
The projector goes into projection mode with the shutter function disabled (shutter: opened) when the
power is turned on.
[CLOSE]
The projector goes into projection mode with the shutter function enabled (shutter: closed) when the
power is turned on.
Using the shutter function
Image and audio is turned off when the projector is not used for a specic time.
1) Press as to select [SHUTTER SETTING].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [SHUTTER SETTING] screen is displayed.
3) Press as to select [SHUTTER].
4) Press the <ENTER> button.
f Press the <MENU> button to cancel the function.

f The power indicator <ON (G)/STANDBY (R)> will blink slowly in green while the shutter function is in use (shutter: closed).
f To output audio while the shutter function is in use (shutter: closed), set the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [AUDIO SETTING] → [IN
SHUTTER] to [ON].
