5.2 USING THE LOOP / PFC FUNCTION
1. Before you do a loop impedance test, use the zero adapter from the accessories set to short
the test leads or the mains cord as shown below. Then press and hold the F4 button for
more than two seconds until the annunciator appears.
The tester measures the lead resistance, stores the reading in memory, and subtracts it from
the subsequent measurements. The resistance of the test leads will be saved even when the
power is turned off and on later, so it is unnecessary to repeat the operation each time you
use the tester with the same test leads or mains cord.
Zero Adapter used on a Schuko® plug
If you wish to reset the zeroed value, press F4 again until the symbol disappears.
Note:
Be sure the batteries are in good charge condition before you zero the test leads.
2. You can select UL Voltage by Pressing and hold F4 button for more than two seconds (25V
or 50V).
