5.2.1 Using the No Trip LOOP Measurement
The No Trip LOOP Measurement is to be selected when the circuit is protected by an RCD whose
rating is 30mA or above.
No Trip LOOP Standby Screen
1. Turn the rotary switch to the LOOP/PFC position
2. Connect the test leads as Figure above
3. As soon as the instrument senses the presence of voltage at its terminals it will operate
automatically and record the measurement taken
4. If NOISE appears during the No Trip Loop Measurement, the displayed value may not be
accurate due to “mains” interference and the test should be repeated
5. Err 1: Consider the correct polarity (Phase, Neutral and PE), otherwise the “Err 1” message
will appear.
