 When measuring is completed, impedance of L-PE and PFC (lf) value appear on the
screen
No Trip – Measurement completed
 Press TEST button if re-test is necessary.
If at least one of the symbols , , appears, or if the
voltage exceeds 260V, the measurement will not take place.
5.2.3 Using the Hi Amp LOOP Measurement
The Hi Amp LOOP Measurement is to be selected when the circuit is NOT protected by the an
RCD.
Hi Amp Loop – Standby screen
1. Turn the rotary switch to the LOOP / PFC position
2. Press F2 button to change from No Trip to Hi Amp
3. Connect the test leads as shown in the figure below
4. As soon as the instrument senses the presence of a voltage at its terminals, it will operate by
pressing the TEST button and display the measured value.
