2.1 General safety information
The following 4 risk levels and 1 information level are taken into account in this document.
DANGER
Immediately pending danger

2.2 Safety instructions
All safety instructions in this document are based on the results of the risk assessment carried out in
accordance with Low-Voltage Directive 2014/35/UE. Where applicable, all life cycle phases of the prod-
uct were taken into account.
WARNING
Risk of crushing when the electronic drive unit installed on a magnetically levitated pump is
suspended
Due to the weight of the magnetically levitated pump and electronic drive unit assembly, there is a
risk of crushing during handling. Under no circumstances shall the manufacturer be liable if the fol-
lowing instructions are not followed:

Only qualified staff trained in handling heavy objects are authorized to handle the product.

Use appropriate lifting rings screwed into holes provided for this purpose (see pump operat-
ing instructions).

Wear safety shoes with a steel toe in accordance with directive EN 347.
