The transducer appears
not to work, and:
EITHER the transducer
Finder LED lights up
briefly after plugging in
the transducer, and INOP
Bus Master Malfunc is
displayed, or the
transducer Finder LED
lights up briefly after
plugging in the transducer,
and there are no
parameters on the screen
(transducer is not
recognized).
The INOP
Bus Master
Malfunc
is displayed.
Transducer is defective Replace the transducer.
All transducers (US, Toco,
IUP, and ECG) do not
work.
The INOP
Bus Master
Malfunc
is displayed.
The Bus Master Board is defective. Replace the Bus Master Board.
The transducer is
connected, the INOP
Bus
Master Malfunc
is
displayed.
The Main CPU board is defective.
Replace the Main CPU Board.
The transducer is defective.
Replace the transducer.
An interrupted transducer upgrade, or
software based malfunction of the
transducer, including communication
problems between the Bus Master Board
and the transducer.
Perform a software upgrade of the
transducer with the Support Tool.
The transducer belt
button is broken or
damaged.
Mechanical damage Replace the belt button.
Handle the transducers with care. Never use
a transducer with a broken or damaged
knob.
