Installing the Tympanic Thermometer
1 Insert the communication cable into the connector (1) until it clicks into place. Then route the
communication cable through one of the channels (2) in the base station.
2 Attach the mounting plate or mounting clamp to the base station. See “Mounting the Tympanic
Thermometer” on page 33 for details.
3 Insert the thermometer cable into the base station by aligning the white arrows on the cable
connector and the base station.
4 Route the cable through the strain relief (1) in the base station.
