Removing the Front End Assembly
The front end assembly consists of:
• the fetal sensor socket connectors with ribbon cable
• the bus master board with ribbon cable
• the optional noninvasive blood pressure and SpO
2
socket connectors
• the connector block frame
To remove front end assembly:
1 Remove the top cover assembly (see “Removing the Top Cover Assembly” on page 141).
2 If the noninvasive blood pressure assembly is fitted, remove it (see “Removing the Noninvasive
Blood Pressure Assembly” on page 188).
3 If the SpO
2
assembly is fitted, remove it (see “Removing the Top Cover Assembly” on page 141).
Also remove the SpO
2
board holder by removing the two screws fastening it to the bottom
housing.
4 Disconnect the flat ribbon cable connecting the bus master board to the main CPU board.
