Disengage the cable lock for the display assembly ribbon cable with the help of a small, flat-bladed
screwdriver. Remove the cable, and discard it. (You will reuse the original ribbon cable, still
attached to the monitor, for connecting the new display assembly.)
5 Remove the cable, and discard it. (You will reuse the original ribbon cable, still attached to the
monitor, for connecting the new display assembly.)
6 Connect the open end of the original display ribbon cable (attached to the monitor) to the
connector on the new display assembly. Ensure the cable lock is engaged and the cable is firmly
connected.
