The automatic TV channel search starts.
 This process may take several
minutes. Once complete, the program list
appears.

In this menu, you can rearrange the
sequence of stored TV channels or
rename the channels.

If you do not wish to modify the stored
channels, press OK on the remote
control to continue, see step

Highlight the preset channel you want to
change, then press W to move to the
action bar on the left of the menu.

Use ST keys to select the required
change action.
Sort channel

Highlight { Move Up } or { Move Down }
in the menu and press OK repeatedly to
shift the selected channel to the desired
preset number.
Set the NICAM mode

Highlight { NICAM } in the menu and
press OK to turn on or off the NICAM
mode.
Note: NICAM is a digital sound
transmission system. It can transmit either
one stereo channel or two separate mono
channels. Select { On } to improve the
sound transmission or { Off } if the
reception is poor.
Rename channel

Highlight { Rename } in the menu and
press OK to show the keyboard screen.
The maximum input is up to 5 characters.
Note: Use W XST keys to navigate in
the keyboard menu and press OK to
select the character/number/symbol. To
end, move to { Finish } in the menu and
press OK.
J
Press X to move the selection bar to the
right before pressing OK to continue the
next setup.
 The clock setting menu appears.
Set the system time.

Alternatively, you can key in the numbers
using the numeric keypad 0-9 on the
remote control.

Press OK to con rm.
 The  nal installation screen appears.

Press OK to con rm and exit the menu.
The DVD recorder is now ready for
use.
