Pausing playback/ slow
motion play
(Not applicable to VCD/SVCD or DivX
discs).
A
During playback, press u to pause
playback and display a still picture.
To move the still picture frame-by-
frame,

Press W or X keys repeatedly to move
backward or forward.
To start slow motion playback,

Press and hold . (fast reverse) or
> (fast forward) repeatedly to cycle
through the different slow motion speed.
B
To resume normal playback, press u.
Searching forward/ backward
You can fast forward or fast reverse a
disc during playback and select a
preferred search speed.
A
During playback, press and hold .
(fast reverse) or > (fast forward) until
the search speed status bar (2X) appears
on the TV.
 The sound will be muted.
B
Press . (fast reverse) or > (fast
forward) repeatedly to cycle through the
different search speed.
C
To resume normal playback, press u.
Repeat playback options
The repeat playback options vary
depending on the disc type.
Repeat chapter/ title/ all titles
A
During playback, press REPEAT1/ALL
to select one of the repeat options.
 Repeat chapter (DVD/DVD±R/±RW)
 Repeat track/title (CD/VCD/DVD)
 Repeat all (CD/VCD/DVD)
B
To cancel repeat playback, press
REPEAT1/ALL repeatedly to select
{ Off } or press STOP x.
Repeat a speci c segment (A-B)
You can repeat the playback of a speci c
segment within a title/chapter track. To
do this, you must mark the start and end
of the segment you want.
A
During playback, press DISPLAY to
display the playback options menu.
B
Use ST to select the d icon and
press OK at the point to mark the
beginning of the segment.
C
Press OK again to mark the end of the
segment of repeat playback.
 Playback skips to the start of the
marked segment. The segment is
repeated until the repeat mode is
cancelled.
D
To cancel repeat playback, select the
d icon and press X to select { Off }.
