Playback from USB
Playback from a USB  ash
drive/ USB memory card
reader
View the contents of a USB  ash drive/
USB memory card reader through this
recorder. The USB port supports the
playback of JPEG/ MP3/ WMA and DivX
 les.
Note:
The USB port does not support playback
from a USB hub device. Only brands and
models of digital cameras which support
USB Mass Storage Device class standard
are supported.
A
Connect a USB  ash drive or USB
memory card reader to the USB port on
the front panel.

Press USB on the remote control to
access the data in the drive.
 The content menu appears.
C
Use STWX keys to navigate within the
menu and select the  le you want to play,
then press OK.

During playback, the available playback
options are displayed at the bottom of
the screen.
 For more playback information, read
the chapter “Playback an audio CD (MP3/
WMA)”, “Playback a picture disc” or
“Playback a DivX disc” for details.

To stop playback, press STOP x or
remove the USB  ash drive/ USB
memory card reader from the USB port.
Helpful Hints:
– The USB port only supports the playback
of JPEG/MP3/WMA/DivX  les.
– The USB port does not support the
connection of other USB devices except to a
USB  ash drive / USB memory card reader.
– If the USB device does not  t into the USB
port, a USB extension cable is required.
