Learn Adjust Mode
Learning a piano consists of manually increasing or decreasing the volume of
each piano key to a desired level. PianoDisc recommends an audibly low
volume level.
To enter the Learn mode:
1. Rotate the Select wheel (+) or (-) until the Learn LED is illuminated.
2. Push in and release the Select wheel.
•The Learn LED starts flashing.
• Piano key 88 starts playing repeatedly (softly). iQ automatically starts the Learn
process with key 88.
3. You are now ready to select a key to learn.
To learn a key:
1. After you enter the
Learn Adjust Mode
, select key 1 to start the Learn process:
• Rotate the select
(+) to scroll to key 1. (
Moving up from key 88 rolls over to key 1

• Push in and release the Select wheel.
•The Learn LED starts double flashing. Key 1 is playing and ready for adjustment.
NOTE: PianoDisc recommends starting with key 1. However, you may scroll to and start
with any key.
2. Increase or decrease the key’s volume level:
• Rotate the Select wheel
(-) to decrease volume or (+) to increase key volume.
•Hold
the wheel in this position to adjust the volume several levels at a time.
OR
• Rotate and release to adjust by one level at a time.
3. After setting the desired volume level, move to the next key:
• Push in the Select wheel. The Learn LED returns to a steady flash.
• Rotate
(+) once to scroll to the next key. Adjust the key’s volume level.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you’ve adjusted all 88 keys.
5. After all 88 keys are adjusted, rapidly play the keyboard:
