About
The EFX600 ellipticals can be installed with either a single stage or a dual stage Input drive sys-
tem. This procedure provides instructions to remove/install the input drive for either input drive
system.
Single Stage Input Drive System: On a single stage input drive system, the input drive
uses a single belt to drive the generator/brake assembly.
Dual Stage Drive System: On a dual stage input drive system, the input drive utilizes a two
stage drive belt system to drive the generator/brake assembly. The first stage drive belt con-
nects the input drive to the smaller pulley on the step-up pulley assembly. Then the second
stage drive belt connects the larger pulley on the step-up pulley assembly to the gen-
erator/brake assembly.
