The EFX600 ellipticals can be installed with either a single stage or a dual stage Input drive sys-
tem. This procedure provides instructions to remove/install drive belts for either the single
stage or dual stage input drive systems.
Single Stage Input Drive System: A single stage input drive system utilize a single stage
drive belt system. One drive belt to connect the input drive assembly to the generator/brake
assembly.
Dual Stage Drive System: A dual stage input drive system utilizes a two stage drive belt sys-
tem. The first stage drive belt connects the input drive to the smaller pulley on the step-up pul-
ley assembly. Then the second stage drive belt connects the larger pulley on the step-up
pulley assembly to the generator/brake assembly.
