Update/Installation Requirements
USB Flash Drive
A USB ash drive containing the update package is needed. Follow the instructions below to
download the compressed le package and place a copy of the uncompressed le on the USB ash
drive.
Operation Systems
The instructions in this document apply to Vess A3340 units running the Windows 7 operating
system.
Download Driver Package
1. Go to the PROMISE website and click on Products near the top of the page, select the Vess
option, then choose Vess A-Series. Scroll down and expand the Resources menu, scroll down
more for the Drivers / Utilities / Firmware links menu. Find the driver or driver package listed under
Drivers, and click the link to download.
2. Uncompress the le and place it on the USB ash drive used for the update.
