fully charged when it is dispatched. For battery
operation it must therefore fi rst be charged. The
charging time when the instrument is switched
off is approximately 2.5 hours. If the instrument
is switched on, the charging time is extended by
approximately one hour to 3.5 hours. An R&S
HA-Z203 external charger is available to charge
an additional replacement battery. Another battery
(R&S FSH-Z206) with a capacity of approximately
6 Ah and an operating time of approximately 4.5
hours is additionally available as an accessory.
For use with the supplied power supply
R&S HA-Z201 the power adapter jack plug should
be pushed into the POWER ADAPTER socket on the
left side of the instrument. Then connect the power
supply unit to an AC outlet. The voltage range of the
power supply unit is 100 V to 240 V AC.

Only use the supplied power supply •
R&S HA-Z201.
AC supply voltage must be compatible to the •
voltage specifi ed on the power supply unit.
Attach the appropriate adapter to the power •
supply.
During operation in the fi eld, the battery can
be charged with the R&S HA-Z202 car adapter
plugged into the cigarette lighter socket.
