Chapter 721
With software update 3.00.00, an adaptive idle measurement was introduced comparing
the differential pressure during idle measurement with stored curves.
1. Basic preconditions for idle measurement:
a. Sufficient oil flow in the tractor
b. No vibrations in the hydraulic system
c. Slide closed
d. Pressure sensor functional
2. Check:
Idle measurement starts and is not
completed
Error message: Temperature at the
hydraulic oil too low, no idle
measurement can be performed
The temperature of the tractor hydraulic
oil is too low, the pressure differences
are too high
The spreading disc type in the fertiliser
settings complies with the assembled
Run the idle measurement to heat the oil
until the measurement is completed
Increase the temperature of the hydraulic oil
or have it heated by circulation
As pressure curves are stored for all
spreading discs, the correct spreading disc
type has to be activated
Check the spreading discs for heavy
wear, distortions and holes
Due to wear, the actual pressure and the
stored pressure curve may deviate
In the service menu, the conditions for
adaptive idle measurement can be adjusted
=> Usually, the value for Idle 2 just needs to
be slightly increased
=> see chapter 4 “Control
parameters”
