54 Phoenix 300 Installation & Operation Manual
Authorization Codes
The feature activation may take a few minutes to complete. Do not remove power from the receiver or
disconnect the USB flash drive during the activation process.
1. Shutdown the Phoenix 300 receiver.
2. Insert the USB flash drive with the authorization file into the USB port on the back of the receiver.
3. Turn the receiver power on. The authorization process will begin automatically during the start up process.
4. Allow the process to complete before proceeding.
Note: Some features (e.g. correction service subscriptions) may require activation before the feature
may be used during field operations. Contact a local Raven dealer for additional assistance.
5. When the update is complete, the receiver will restart automatically. When the Home Display screen is
shown on the Phoenix 300, the receiver is ready for operation.
