SailPoint
The[SailPoint]widgetincludessteeringmarkersandacrosshair,which
provideavisualreferenceofthebesttargetwindangle,toassistyouin
achievingyourvessel’smaximumupwindordownwindVelocityMadeGood
(VMG)/waypointCourse-to-Steer(CTS).SailPointalsoincludesadynamic
polarspeedindicatorwhichmovesupordowntoshowthepercentage
polarperformanceversusthetargetpolarvesselspeedforthecurrentwind
speedandangle.
Note:
Thiswidgetisonlyavailablewhentheboatingactivityissetto[Sailing],
whencompletingtheinitialstartupwizardforyourconnectedmultifunction
display/chartplotter.
Note:
Thewidgetissettoself-correctandcounteracttheperformancedisplay’s
tiltangle.Allscreenobjectsreferencedbelowwillrotatearoundthecenter
ofthecrosshair,sothateachelementremainshorizontallylevelwiththe
ground.
