7 Terms of guarantee

REA Elektronik GmbH guarantees that the devices supplied are free from material and

production defects. This guarantee shall be valid for 12 months from the date of shipment, but

shall be rendered invalid in cases of incorrect installation, improper use or damage to the

device, irrespective of whether it occurred inadvertently or due to negligence.

Repair under guarantee

If the purchased device does not work flawlessly within the guarantee period stated above,

REA Elektronik GmbH will repair it free of charge. To avoid unnecessary costs, we ask you to

carefully check all information in the user manual before concluding that the device is

defective or does not work flawlessly.

Return of the device

In the event that the device needs to be returned for repairs, the device case it came with or

the shipping carton should be used to return the device. The original shipping carton contains

transport protection. If this is not used, the device will be damaged in transit.

The sender shall bear any expenses when returning the device. The shipment is to be insured

for the value of the device. Following the repair under guarantee, REA Elektronik GmbH or the

respective representative will return the device to the address of the sender free of charge.

Express deliveries can be arranged on request. The additional costs incurred will always be

invoiced on a time and materials basis.

An RMA No. must be requested from REA before returning the device. For this purpose, the

S/N of the device must be provided.

Customer service after the expiration of the guarantee period

Please contact REA Elektronik GmbH or the representative for your area for more information.

You can find a document on the REA website that provides the status of the devices.

Discontinued devices cease to be covered by the repair support service after a certain period

of time, which is detailed in the aforementioned document.

General guarantee terms

REA Elektronik GmbH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential

damages, including damages resulting in loss of profit or production downtime, delivery

delays, material losses, increased operating or business costs or similar.

The general terms and conditions of business of the manufacturer REA Elektronik GmbH shall

apply in addition to these regulations.
