Replacing the Drum Unit
You can view the procedure to replace the drum unit by watching a movie that is displayed on the
control panel.
You can display the telephone number for ordering replacement drum unit.
See "Contact Information", User Guide (Full Version).
• Place the drum unit on a flat surface. Do not stand the drum unit on end or lean it against an object.
• When you replace the drum unit, replace it immediately since the performance may be reduced if
the drum unit is exposed by a light for a long period.
1. Press [Watch Video].
To display this screen again, press [Check Status] and then press [Check] under "Mach. Status" on
the [Mach./Applic. Stat] tab.
2. Press the play ( ) key.
3. Replace the drum unit by following the procedure shown in the video.
Disposing of Used Drum Unit
Drum unit cannot be re-used.
(mainly Europe)
If you want to discard your used toner container, please contact your local sales office. If you discard it
by yourself, treat it as general plastic waste material.
