18 Initial testing

The installer is required to measure impact forces and select on the control unit the
appropriate speed and torque values to ensure that the motorised door or gate remains
[MXLMRXLIPMQMXWHIƼRIHF]XLIWXERHEVHW)2ERH)2
Make sure that the provisions in Chapter 1 "GENERIC WARNINGS are observed.
• Turn on the power supply.
• Check that all connected controls are working correctly.
• Check travel and deceleration.
• Check that the impact force is correct, in compliance with EN 12453 and EN12445.
• Check that the safety devices are activated correctly
• Disconnect from mains power then reconnect.
• Starting with the gate stopped in an intermediate position, check that the position
recovery procedure is completed correctly for both the open and closed positions.
• Check the limit switch settings (if installed).
• Check that the release system works correctly.

Apply a plate indicating the automation system data on the motorised door or gate, the name of the person in
charge of the start-up, the serial number and the year of construction, as well as the CE mark.
Apply a plate and / or label with the indications for the operations required to manually unlock the system.
Draw up and provide the end user with the declaration of conformity, instructions and warnings for use and the
maintenance plan.
Make sure that the end user has understood the correct automatic, manual or emergency operation of the system.

20 Maintenance
Perform scheduled maintenance every 6 months.
Check cleanliness and function.
If the unit contains dirt, moisture, insects or other foreign matter, disconnect from mains power and clean the
board and the housing.
Repeat the initial installation test procedure after cleaning.
If any corrosion is found on the printed circuit board, evaluate if it is necessary to replace the board itself.
21 Disposal
