Set height position of media (automatic)
This setup sets the medias height position automatically to a suitable position while printing. While setting
up, the at table moves automatically and detects the media height when the media touches the media gap
sensor.
* If the print surface is uneven, there is a limit to the area of unevenness.

When you do not want to let the media gap sensor to touch the media, automatic setup is not suitable in the
following cases. Set the height manually.

Procedure
Secure the media in place on the at table.
P. 11, "How to Secure the Media"
Close the front cover.
Press .

Press to move the at table.
Move the print surface to a position 10 mm (0.39 in) away from the media gap sensor. This step can be
performed with the front cover open.

Using an adhesive sheet
This method secures the media in place using an
adhesive sheet, which is included. Load the adhesive
sheet on the at table, and press the media on top of
the sheet to set.
It can be set anywhere as long as it does not protrude
from the top of the at table.
