Treatment effect seems inadequate
Cause
Solution
Weeds are too dense.
Cut down weeds and treat them at
the base of their stem.
Voltage setting selected
on Treatment Lance is too
low.
Increase voltage setting on
Treatment Lance.
Return circuit is too weak.
Move Treatment Return closer to
treatment area.
Treat when conditions aren’t so dry.
Ground is too dry.
Relocate Treatment Return to more
moist ground or closer to treatment
area.
Treat weeds in the spring when the
ground has a higher moisture
content.
• Treat in the Spring for optimum results:
- Ground less likely to be dry
- Weed growth is younger and will take less energy
to treat
