3. Use a suitable tool to le the sharp end where the
brace was cut.
Exposed point on modifi ed K-brace, shown installed
4. Paint the cut area with Motorcraft High
Temperature Anti-Corrosion Coating to prevent
corrosion.
5. Cut the cross brace (blue) and cowl support
(green) as indicated by the white lines shown.
Using Motorcraft High Temperature Anti-Corrosion
Coating, coat the ends to prevent corrosion.
6. Cut the cowl as shown.
