ENGINE AND CONTROLS
3-1-1. Installation of pump
When the pump assembly has been removed from the
engine for repair or replacement, reinstall it in accordance
with the following procedure.
①
Apply adequate amount of grease to pump (7) and
coupling (5) splines.
②
Securecoupling(5)toengineywheelwithsixbolts(4),
spring washers and washers.
N•m
(4) Bolt M8×20 : 23 N·m (17 lbf·ft)
③
Installpins(3)toywheelhousing.
④
Positioncover(1)asshowninthegure,andsecureto
ywheelhousingwithsevenbolts(2)andwashers.
⑤
Engage spline of pump (7) with coupling (5).
⑥
Secure pump (7) to cover (1) with two bolts (6) and
washers.
N•m
(6) Bolt M12×40 : 108 N·m (80 lbf·ft)
(NOTICE)
Bolts (4) is treated with thread-locking uid. Use new
thread-locking uid treated bolts for installation.
