7-1-1. Installation of pump
When the pump assembly has been removed from the
engine for repair or replacement, reinstall it in accordance
with the following procedure.
①
Apply adequate amount of grease to pump (8) and
coupling (6) splines.
②
Securecoupling(6)toengineywheelwithfourbolts(1),
two bolts (4), spring washers and washers.
(1) Bolt M8×16 : 23 N·m (17 lbf·ft)

(4) Bolt M8×20 : 23 N·m (17 lbf·ft)
③
Installpins(3)toywheelhousing.
④
Position weep hole of cover (5) with bottom, and secure
toywheelhousingwitheightbolts(2)andwashers.
⑤
Engage spline of pump (8) with coupling (6).
⑥
Secure pump (8) to cover (5) with two bolts (7) and
washers.
N•m
(7) Bolt M12×35 : 108 N·m (80 lbf·ft)
(NOTICE)
Bolts (1) and (4) are treated with thread-locking
uid. Use new thread-locking uid treated bolts for
installation.
