Operation
6.4 Infrared interface
The infrared interface allows the controller to
be congured and operated using the TRO-
VIS-VIEW software. It can be accessed from
the front of the controller. It is located above
the SAMSON logo (see Fig.6-1).
Further information on conguration and op-
eration using the TROVIS-VIEW software is
available in uEB6661.
An infrared interface is required for data
transmission between the serial RS-232 port
of the computer and the infrared interface on
the controller.
A bracket ensures that the adapter is proper-
ly aligned in front of the controller. The in-
fra-red adapter can be connected to the USB
port of the computer using the USB to RS-
232 adapter. A driver must be installed to
use the adapter (see AnnexB).
