11 Servicing
The work described in this section is only to be performed by personnel appropriately quali-
ed to carry out such tasks.
We recommend inspection and testing according to Table 11-1.
The compact controller was checked by SAMSON before it left the factory.
− The product warranty becomes void if service or repair work not described in these instruc-
tions is performed without prior agreement by SAMSON's After-sales Service.
− Only use original spare parts by SAMSON, which comply with the original specications.

Inspection and testing Action to be taken in the event of a negative
result
Check the markings, labels and nameplates on
the compact controller for their readability and
completeness.
Î Immediately renew damaged, missing or
incorrect nameplates or labels.
Î Clean any inscriptions that are covered with
dirt and are illegible.
Check the connecting cables. Î If lines are loose, tighten the screws at the
terminal (see the 'Installation' section).
Î Renew damaged lines.
Check the plug-on screw terminals to ensure they
are correctly inserted.
Î Insert plug-on screw terminals that are not
correctly inserted (see the 'Installation'
section).
Check panel mounting. Î If the device is mounted too loosely or too
tightly, adjust the threaded rods (see the
'Installation' section).
Î Replace a defective seal.
