5-5 Commands
5-5-1 Command compatible with the previous MPM-200 model
1) Command addition
MMVER?
Performs an identification query of a module type. Please refer to “5.5.3.
Measurement-related commands”, Command 5 for the detail.
AUTO
Performs the mode setting / checking of the measurement mode. Please refer
to “5.5.3. Measurement-related commands”, Command 19, 20 for the detail.
2) Command change
AVG/FSGAVG
Performs the setting / checking of the averaging time. Please refer to “5.5.3.
Measurement-related commands”, Command 13-16 for the detail.
In case of the previous MPM-200, there were two command for the setting/
checking of the averaging time.
1/“AVG” / ”AVG?”:
At the Manual range mode and when using “READ?” command
2/“FSGAVG” / ”FSGAVG?”:
At the Auto range mode
In the MPM-210, these two commands have been integrated. For the
compatibility, both commands are listed in the following command lists, 5.5.3.
Measurement-related commands”.
CWAV?/CWAVPO?
Checks the calibrated wavelength and the power value of the calibrated
wavelength. Please refer to “5.5.3. Measurement-related commands”,
Command 22, 23 for the detail. The index number is 1 to 19 at the MPM-200,
while 1 to 20 at the MPM-210.
STAT?
Checks the measurement status during logging. Please refer to “5.5.3.
Measurement-related commands”, Command 28 for the detail. The command
response is changed because of addition of the “LOOP” command.
The MPM-210 is almost command compatible with the previous MPM-200 model,
so switching to the new MPM-210 is as simple as swapping out your devices. The
following describes the added or changed commands.
