Optical Adjustments
Contrast adjustment
Adjustment environment: Dark room
Signal pattern: All black ( Select the internal test pattern signal All
black” from the projector’s menu “Menu
-> Setting -> Test pattern”.)
[1] Polarized glass adjustment
1 Loosen each screw A on the polarized glass holder.
2 Turn the lever B of polarized glass to obtain the darkest brightness
and proper black color uniformity on the screen.
Adjust in order for G-panel, R-panel and then B-panel.
3 Turn the lever C of polarized glass for R-panel to obtain the darkest
brightness and proper black color uniformity on the screen.
4 Tighten the screw A to fix the polarized glass holder.
[2] Optical filter (ICV) adjustment
1 Loosen each screw D.
2 Turn the lever E of optical filter (ICV) to obtain the darkest bright-
ness and proper black color uniformity on the screen.
3 Tighten the screw D to fix the optical filter holder.
