PresstheON/STAND-BYbuttononthetopcontrolor
ontheremotecontrol,andPower off?appearsonthe
screen.
PresstheON/STAND-BYbuttonagaintoturnoffthe
projector.ThePOWERindicatorstartstoblinkred,and
thecoolingfanskeeprunning(Youcanselectthelevel
offans’quietnessandspeed.See"Fan"onpage58.).
Atthistime,youcanunplugtheACpowercordevenif
thefansarestillrunning.

Whentheprojectorhascooleddownenough,the
POWERindicatorstopsblinkingandyoucanturnon
theprojector.
Note:
•WhentheOnstartfunctionissetto
On,theprojectorwill
beturnedonautomaticallybyconnectingtheACpower
cordtoanACoutlet(p.54).
•Therunningspeedofcoolingfansischangedaccording
tothetemperatureinsidetheprojector.
•Donotputtheprojectorinacasebeforetheprojectoris
cooledenough.
•IftheWARNINGindicatorblinksorlightsred,see
"WARNINGindicator"onpage61.
•WhilethePOWERindicatorisblinking,thelampisbeing
cooleddownandtheprojectorcannotbeturnedon.Wait
untilthePOWERindicatorstopsblinkingtoturnonthe
projectoragain.
•The fan rotation will terminate directly if theAC power
cord is unplugged immediately after the projector is
turnedoff.
•The projector can be turned on after the POWER
indicator turns red. The waiting time to restart will be
shortenedwhenthenormalpower-offprocessingforfan
cooling is completed, compared with the time the AC
power cord is immediately unplugged after the power-
off.
