4.11 Adjusting the Timing Belt Tension
Required tool:
• Phillips screwdriver (JIS #2 or equivalent)
1 Make sure that the printer is in power off mode, then disconnect the power cord from
the AC outlet.
2 Remove the left housing cover from the printer.
Refer to Section 5.1.1 Remove the Left Housing Cover for details.
3 Disconnect the motor connector . from
the main (CONT) PCB.
4 Remove four screws 3 attaching the
gearbox to the printer.
5 Loosen the screw $ of the tension
bracket /.
Note
Do not remove the screw $.
