6.1 Installation of the Optional RTC (Real Time
Clock) Kit
CAUTION
Before the installation, be sure to power off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
Required tool:
• Phillips screwdriver (JIS #2 or equivalent)
1 Remove the screw ., slide and lift to
remove the left housing cover

Note
When removing the left housing cover, make sure
that the cover does not touch the PCB, causing the
components of the PCB to be deformed.
2 Attach the EXT PCB $and tighten four
screws
