8. Removing the Printer Driver Data File
When the printer driver is installed, the printer driver data file is also installed. Even if you uninstall the
printer driver, the printer driver data file remains on the computer. If the printer driver data file exists,
you can install the printer driver with Plug and Play.
Once you have uninstalled all printer drivers and you do not intend to install the printer driver with
Plug and Play in the future, remove the printer driver data file.
Double-click PrnInst.exe. 1.
Click [Next]. 2.
Click [Remove Preloaded Drivers]. 3.
Select the check box for the printer driver data that you want to delete and click [Next]. 4.
The removal procedure starts.
