5.6.2. Switch-on optimisation
Function:
The zone is already at setpoint temperature by the switch-on time specified in the time program.
Premise:
The outdoor temperature sensor must be installed.
Switch-on optimisation is in Auto mode [expert setting].
One of the two automatic operating modes must be selected.
Execution:
Switch-on optimisation works automatically and separately for each zone. The required preheating time of the
heaters is calculated based on a continuous adaptation process, which takes into account the outside
temperature and the heat-up performance of the building. The activated switch-on optimisation is displayed
in the info bar [section 5.3.3].
5.6.3. Herringbone-system fan monitoring function
Function:
The heating command to the heater [relay or bus] is only given when fan monitoring has been enabled at the
digital input.
Premise:
The "Fan monitoring" function for the corresponding zone is set at the corresponding digital input.
Execution:
As soon as there is a heating request for the zone, all assigned fans are activated. The heating command to
the heater [relay or bus] is only given when fan monitoring has been enabled at the digital input. If the enable
at the digital input disappears, the heating request to the heater is also cancelled.
If the fan output is active, but fan monitoring is not enabled, an error is set after a parameterisable time, i.e.
the red LED lights up, the error relay switches, and an entry is generated in the event log. The error is reset as
soon as one of the following states occurs:
The heating request disappears.
The fan monitoring enable is set.
The monitoring function at the digital input is deactivated [only in expert mode].
