Activate the protection stage and select whether it shall operate as a supervision or a
protection function, see ╚═▷ “4.1 »Prot« – General Protection Module”.

Select the Characteristic:

◦ “DEFT” (DEFinite-Time),◦
◦ or any of the Inverse-time characteristics listed in ╚═▷ “11.2.3◦

Specify the pickup threshold:

reset delay:

Options:
◦ “instantaneous” (immediate reset),◦
◦ “de󰊟nite time” (reset delay 󰊟xed to a particular time in seconds),◦
◦ “inverse time” (reset delay depends on the selected characteristic. This option◦
is not available for some curves, see ╚═▷ “11.2.3 Characteristics »I2>«”.)

Only in case of an Inverse-Time characteristic with 󰊟xed reset delay, »I2> . Reset
Mode« = “de󰊟nite time”:
Specify the reset delay (in seconds):

(Remark: For the De󰊟nite-Time overcurrent, the reset delay always equals 0.)
