8. MAINTENANCE
Only the qualified engineer is allowed to conduct maintenance for converter; please pay attention to
the following precautions:
Ÿ Make sure that all the screws are fastened after the maintenance
Ÿ Do not touch the components on the PCB directly; otherwise, components can be damaged by
static
Ÿ Maintenance must be conducted only by qualified engineers in specified way
Ÿ Only when converter is shut down for 5 minutes can maintenance be conducted
8.1. General maintenance and upkeep
Affected by environmental conditions(e.g. temperature, humidity or smog) and aging of internal
components, the drive may malfunction. Therefore, daily inspection and maintenance on converter
must conducted during the
process of storage and application. For the detailed information of daily inspection and maintenance,
please refer to the following table:

8.2. Inspection and replacing damaged parts
The electrolytic capacitors must be replaced after approx 15,000 hours of running
The fan must be replaced after more than 20,000 hours of running.
As for some of internal components, abrasion or performance degradation may be caused during
use. To ensure stable and reliable operation, preventive maintenance on converter must be
conducted. If necessary, please replace them:
