Even if the IRAffinity-1 is not used for long term, AC power must still be supplied. The Dry unit works,
desiccating the inside of the interferometer and protecting the optical elements against humidity.
Inspection according to the section 5.1.2 "Periodic Inspection" must be done once a week.
