2. When using TPDO1, parameterize output interval in object 1800h subindex 5
(event timer).
3. Parameterize sync. interval in CANopen controller when using TPDO2.
4. Deactivate unused TPDO if necessary.
5. Transfer configuration to the controller or configure the transfer of further process
values if required.
Configure transmission of further process values (e.g. temperature, reception level,
etc.):
1. Select TPDO5 (1804h) or TPDO6 (1805h) in the configuration tool.
2. Perform dynamic mapping for desired process value see "Dynamic mapping",
page 83.
3. Parameterize communication parameters in the selected TPDO (e.g. transmission
type, event timer)
4. Transfer configuration to the controller.
NOTE
If required, the following device-specific parameters can be adjusted via the corre‐
sponding objects using the controller-specific configuration tool:
Resolution position value (see "Object 4000h – Distance Resolution", page 77 and
see "Object 6005h Linear Encoder Measuring Step Settings", page 80)
Resolution speed value (see "Object 4001h – Velocity Resolution", page 77 and
see "Object 6005h Linear Encoder Measuring Step Settings", page 80)
Measuring direction (see "Object 6000h Operating Parameters", page 78)
Scaling function (see "Object 6000h Operating Parameters", page 78 and see
"Object 6002h Total Measuring Range in Measuring Units", page 79)
All other device-specific parameters, such as MFx multifunction input/outputs, can only
be set via the display or with the SOPAS ET configuration software.
