No. Meaning Explanation
Type designation indicates the exact device type (see page 18)
IP code Indicates the level of protection of the device against touching or
intrusion of solid objects (1st digit) and water ingress (2nd digit)
Device version Indicates the version of the hardware; if no version is existent,
0.000 is indicated here
Technical data Specifies technical data such as the input and output power, the
output frequency, etc.
Serial number Indicates the individual number of the device
QA label Test steps for quality assurance:
▶ V = pretest or partial test
▶ H = high-voltage test
▶ W = thermal test
▶ E = final tests
During testing, the QA test steps are marked, see below.
Markings of QA test steps
The QA test steps can have the following markings:
two diagonal lines:
Test step is completed.
one diagonal line:
Test step is not required.
No marking: Test step was not yet carried out.

Which test steps are required is specified in the corresponding test instruction.
