CAN bus: This is a multiport connector. Therefore the pin assignment does not comply
with the CiA standard und must be adapted accordingly.
7.5.1 RS232 Diagnosis
Note
This RS232 interface provided at connector X10 is a lower level diagnosis interface, e.g.
for the program PuTTY.
Do not use this interface for the communication with the software drivemaster4. Please,
use the Ethernet-Interface X11 for this purpose.

If you connect X10 to a standard RS232 interface of a PC (9-pole male D-sub connec-
tor), the used cable must be constructed as follows:

7.5.2 RS485 Bus
The RS485 interface is a two-wire connection with differential signals. The lines have a
rated impedance of 120 Ω. At both ends of the bus cable, the signal lines are connected
to a terminating resistor of 120 Ω (see figure). Since the drives do not provide an internal
terminating resistor, the bus termination must be installed in the bus cable.
You can realize an external safety circuit using an ohmic voltage divider. Thereby, resis-
tors create a differential bus voltage to put the receivers in a safe status. These resistors
with a value of approximately 560 Ω are usually implemented in the master. The drives
do not provide the resistors for this purpose.
